Met an old coworker here for lunch. It was quite a hopping place. Plenty of staff to cover the crowd. We were able to order and received our food piping hot. Burger was great. Fry portion was a bit small but honestly probably the right size! There are a couple different rooms so you can have a more restaurant experience or bar experience. Staff was attentive and food was great. Would definitely go back.

Always a favorite of mine to dine at! I have always had fantastic service at Tavern on Main. I have been visiting this establishment since it opened its doors. I love the food there! The appetizers are amazing! I recommend the shrimp! The pizzas are delicious! I usually do a custom made pizza with my favorite toppings.

Great food and drinks. Always busy and the outside area is great in fair weather. Menu has a lot of choices.

My wife were in town for the dog show. Found this gem on Yelp. Great food and the service was super, also. I had the fetucini alfredo and it was creamy excellence. Nice big chunks of chicken, too. My wife got the meat lobers pizza. Really good as we split both meals. We will certainly return when in town for next years show. Keep up the good work guys!!

I ate here in August with a small group for the first time at lunch. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The exposed brick and the open airy room we sat in was wonderful. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and the pizza looked great that one lady ordered from our table. Our service was very good from a very nice young lady with beautiful tattoos. I'd like to return for dinner!

Went after art fair, so was bustling! Huge space, very eclectic bar type restaurant. Sat in the bar as the wait was quite long for a table on patio or indoors. Had a cherry lime drop cocktail - a bit too sweet but refreshing all the same! For entree tried the Cobb Salad with blackened chicken. This was really good and quite a large serving. The chicken was nice and soooo tender, cooked to perfection. Great seasoning. Couldn't finish my salad, which is rare for me! Overall a fantastic value for the volume and quality. Would get this again! The wait staff was terrific here. Very attentive to our wobbly table, and had several people check on us. I also appreciated that the tables jn the bar weren't so close together so we had plenty of space around us. Unusual for these types of restaurant bars.

There are so many reasons to love this place. It's in downtown Belleville, seems like most of the street has old city charm, the building is awesome, from the bar to the big room in the back. The staff is awesome, most have been there for a while so they're ready to help if you can't decide on what to get. As for the menu, there is something for everyone !!! I have to many favorites to list, but the top of it will always be the Ahi tuna. The mashed potatoes are REAL and the asparagus is a great change from the norm.

Food: 7.5/10 got prosciutto tortellini and tavern burger. Tortellini was really good, burger was just ok, taste tested the pizza (Steakhouse w/o blue cheese) and it was tasty also. Would pick pizza over burger. Ambiance: good for a big group, a bit dark inside (80s steakhouse lighting) Service: friendly staff, a little bit of a wait time when ordering/asking for additions (but we were with a group of 16) Overall experience: good for a big family event. But wouldn't come here for a date night

Steak pizza = one of the best pizzas I've ever had! It has an awesome crust, blue cheese crumbles, steak, onions...just amazing. Their ranch is excellent too. My wife had a side salad. It was good. But, the toasted raviolis...OMG. Better than Imos! Good bar selection too. And, the place was hopping. We took the kids and didn't feel out of place at 7 on a Saturday night. Really enjoyed it!
